Who is responsible for your data?

Future Taxi is part of Danesh vof. Danesh vof is the controller for the personal data collected through this website, and is also the party named on your invoice. You can reach us at info@futuretaxi.nl or +31 6 18 54 91 45.

Registered address: Van Gijnstraat 33, 2288 GB Rijswijk, the Netherlands. This is a registered address, not a visitor address, we collect customers rather than receiving them on site.

What data do we process, and why?

We only collect what we need to drive your ride. Specifically:

• Name, to address and recognise you at pickup.
• Phone number, to reach you if there's a delay or we can't find you.
• Email address, to send your booking confirmation.
• Pickup and destination address, to drive the ride and calculate the price.
• Date and time, to schedule the ride.
• Any notes, for example a flight number or a request for a child seat.

The legal basis for this processing is performance of the transport contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without this data we cannot carry out the ride.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it on.

How long do we keep your data?

Booking data including your address is kept for 12 months after the ride, so we can handle questions or complaints and recognise repeat rides. After that we delete the pickup and destination address.

Invoice and payment data is kept for 7 years. That is not a choice: Dutch tax law requires it.

Who do we share your data with?

To run the site and the bookings we use a number of service providers. A data processing agreement is in place with each of them:

• Supabase, storage of booking data in the database.
• Resend, sending confirmation emails.
• Google Maps Platform, converting addresses into distance and drive time for the price estimate.
• Google Analytics, anonymous visit statistics, only after your consent via the cookie notice.
• Google Ads, measuring which ad led to a booking, only after your consent for advertising cookies.
• Firebase App Hosting by Google, hosting of the website.
• Hotjar, session recordings and heatmaps to see where visitors get stuck in the booking form, only after your consent for analytics cookies.
• Microsoft Clarity, session recordings and heatmaps for the same purpose, only after your consent for analytics cookies.
• OpenAI, measuring whether an ad in ChatGPT led to a ride, only after your consent for advertising cookies.

Beyond this we only share your data where we are legally required to. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this is done on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This site uses three kinds of cookies and comparable techniques. Necessary cookies are needed to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice; these require no consent. Analytics cookies let us see which pages help visitors book a ride. They also record anonymously how you move through the site: scrolling, clicking and where you drop out of the form. What you type into the fields is not stored, and on the thank-you page and the payment step no visible text is kept at all. Advertising cookies measure which ad led to a ride.

Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you have given consent for them in the cookie notice. You can choose the two separately; analytics only is fine. If you click Decline, neither is set and the site keeps working exactly the same.

What that advertising measurement is for, in plain terms: we advertise on Google and pay per click. Without it we only know how many people click, not which of those clicks became an actual ride. We would then be paying just as much for ads that bring nothing. With your consent we store the click identifier Google attaches to your visit, for at most 90 days, and link it to the booking.

We do not sell your data and we do not build a profile of you for other parties. This measurement is about our own ads, not about who you are.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser, not in a cookie on our server. At the bottom of this page you can change or withdraw it at any time. If you withdraw consent for advertising cookies, we delete the stored click identifier immediately.

Fonts are served from our own server, so no data goes to third parties for those.

What rights do you have?

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• Access, request which data we hold about you.
• Rectification, have incorrect data corrected.
• Erasure, have your data deleted, insofar as we are not legally required to keep it.
• Restriction, have processing temporarily suspended.
• Portability, receive your data in a common file format.
• Objection, object to a particular processing activity.

Send a request to info@futuretaxi.nl. We respond within four weeks. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to booking data is limited to the driver carrying out the ride. Booking forms are protected against automated abuse.
